- a relaxation to the requirement to stay at home unless you have a reasonable excuse to enable people to be outside for any purpose within their local area;
- a relaxation to the prohibition on gathering which allows persons from no more than two households to gather outdoors.
NI (SI) 2020/89 – The Statutory Sick Pay (General) (Coronavirus Amendment) (No. 4) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 Added a category of persons entitled to statutory sick pay: a person who has been notified that they have had contact with a person with coronavirus or a person who has symptoms of coronavirus, and who is self-isolating for 14 days from the latest date on which that contact occurred, or a date specified in the latest notification.
