Ireland | COVID-19 | Weekly regulatory update 24.06.2020
This week’s COVID-19 regulatory watch covers the upcoming Phase 3 and 4 roadmap for easing lockdown and the protocol from the Irish government on How to return to work safely. In addition, the Irish government published regulations related to some of the relaxations of the regulations and temporary restrictions related to international passengers.
PHASE 3 on 29 June
From phase 3, you could travel anywhere in Ireland. Face coverings are recommended for any circumstances where social distancing is not possible. In addition, the following businesses will be allowed to reopen:
- wellbeing services – for example: chiropractic, massage therapy, acupuncture, reflexology and homoeopathy
- hairdressers, barbers, nail and brow salons, beauty salons, spas, make-up application services, tanning, tattooing and piercing services
- driving schools
- all remaining retail (for example, bookmakers), services and commercial activities
- pubs, bars, hotel bars and casinos may reopen
- gatherings of up to 100 people indoors and 500 outdoors will be permissible
