EPS Coronavirus COVID-19 Disinfectants 2 On March 3, 2020, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released a list of EPA-registered disinfectant products that are effective against SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19. The list was updated on March 13, 2020.
The publication of this list provides employers and the public with increased guidance on which disinfectants can be used to clean surfaces and other objects where SARS-CoV-2 might be present.
