HSE publishes ACOP and guidance on consulting workers on health and safety [UK]

The HSE has published their amended second edition of the L146 guidance on consulting workers on health and safety. The guidance applies to workplaces in Great Britain subject to the Safety Representatives and Safety Committees Regulations 1977 (as amended) and the Health and Safety (Consultation with Employees) Regulations 1996 (as amended).
Only minor changes have been made to the 2012 second edition in order to reflect changes in linked HSE guidance and in related legislation. The document provides Approved Codes of Practice and guidance on the above regulations, explaining the difference between the two and how they affect your workplace. The 2013 brief guide to consulting employees on health and safety (INDG232(rev2)) remains relevant.
