From 22 October to 26 October, the Secretary of State made regulations to move a number of areas to different local Covid-19 alert levels in England.
The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Local COVID-19 Alert Level) (Medium, High and Very High) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2020
These Regulations subject a number of areas to the restrictions set out in the Health Protection  (Very High) (England) Regulations 2020, and make corresponding amendments to remove those areas from the Health Protection (High) (England) Regulations 2020, subject a number of areas to the restrictions set out in the High Regulations and impose closures on additional businesses in the areas concerned. They also make minor amendments to the Health Protection (Medium) (England) Regulations 2020, the High Regulations and the Very High Regulations.

These Regulations subject the area of Warrington Borough Council to the restrictions set out in the Health Protection (Very High) (England) Regulations 2020 and make corresponding amendments to remove Warrington from the Health Protection  (England) Regulations 2020. They impose closures on additional businesses in that area. They also make a number of minor corrections to the Very High Regulations, the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Local COVID-19 Alert Level) (Medium) (England) Regulations 2020, and the Health Protection (High) (England) Regulations 2020.
