The Health and Safety Executive published a safety alert on the use of face masks designated KN95.
The HSE indicated that masks marqued KN95 did not meet EU standards of protection. They should not be used as PPE as they can not be confirmed to meet the Safety Sandards.
  • Should any KN95 masks have a CE marking, suppliers must show documentation that the marking is genuine.
