There are only 3 scenarios in which the ‘responsible person’ must report under RIDDOR
- As a Dangerous Occurrence, if an incident or accident at work has or may have released covid-19 virus
- As a Case of Disease, if a worker has been diagnosed with Covid from occupational exposure.
- As a work-related death due to exposure to a biological agent, if a worker dies as a result of an occupational exposure
