On 9th of March 2018, on the Official Journal of the European Union it was published Commission communication in the framework of the implementation of Directive 2014/34/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on the harmonisation of the laws of the Member States relating to equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (Publication of titles and references of harmonised standards under Union harmonisation legislation) (2018/C 092/02). The Standards are adopted by the European standardisation organisations in English (CEN and Cenelec also publish in French and German). Afterwards, the titles of the standards are translated into all other required official languages of the European Union by the national standardisation bodies.
