COVID-19: a release of further restrictions has been announced
COVID-19: ogłoszono zniesienie kolejnych obostrzeń

On 16th May 2020, it has been published in the Official Journal a Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 16 May 2020 on the establishment of specific restrictions, orders and bans in connection with the occurrence of the state of the epidemic (pos. 878). It comes into the force on the same day and replaced the previous regulation on this matter (O.J.2020.792). The content of new regulation is in a big part taken from the previous one. Among others, the obligation of mandatory quarantine after crossing the borders for professional reasons was removed, but the rules for using protective measures, also those in the workplaces, remained maintained. In the press release “New rules for covering the nose and mouth, open cinemas and gyms – we are entering the next stage of defrosting” of May 27, 2020, the Government announces from May 30 this year, the next stage of releasing restrictions (such as no obligation to cover the mouth and nose in open public spaces or no limits of people in the commercial and gastronomy sector). The Central Institute for Labour Protection – National Research Institute (CIOP-PIB) in consultation with the Chief Labour Inspector prepared the material “Safety and health protection of people working during the COVID-19 epidemic”. A press release under the same title was published on 20th May 2020, on the website of the National Labour Inspectorate. The material, in addition to recommendations on epidemiological safety, contains a practical checklist that facilitates the introduction of solutions to respond to threats faster, both during the epidemic and after it.
