- COVID19 – Rhineland-Palatinate: Publication of the Eighth Corona Control Ordinance
On 25 May 2020, the Eighth Corona Control Ordinance Rhineland-Palatinate of 25 May 2020 was published in the Law and Ordinance Gazette for Rhineland-Palatinate No. 19. This contains the current regulations for the containment of the corona virus for Rhineland-Palatinate. These include the preparation of hygiene concepts by certain institutions and companies.

On 30 May 2020, the Ordinance on the amendment of ordinances on Infection Law to combat the Corona Pandemic of 29 May 2020 was published in the Official Gazette of the Saarland Part I No. 30. In addition to amendments to various corona legal requirements, a new regulation to combat the corona pandemic (VO-CP) was also issued. Among other things, the ordinance lays down the conditions under which certain establishments may reopen.

On 26 May 2020, the Ordinance for Containing the Spread of the Corona Virus SARS-CoV-2 in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg of 26 May 2020 was published in the Hamburg Law and Ordinance Gazette No. 28. The ordinance contains, among other things, regulations for retail sales outlets, banks and fitness studios.

On 28 May 2020, the “Law to ensure proper planning and approval procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic (PlanSiG)” of 20 May 2020 was published in the Federal Law Gazette Part I No. 24. This law provides temporary adjustments and simplifications in various planning and approval procedures in order to avoid delays in such procedures due to the corona pandemic. The main issue here is the possibility of digital public participation.

In a notification of 26 May 2020, the REACH-CLP Biocide helpdesk (helpdesk) of the BAuA informs about the provision of sample labels for the classification and labeling of surface disinfectants.
