On 15 May 2020, the “Regulation on the Amendment of the Corona Protection Regulation” of 15 May 2020 was published in the Law Gazette No. 17d for North Rhine-Westphalia. This provides relaxations for further companies and institutions if they comply with corresponding protection and hygiene concepts.

In a press release of 15 May 2020, the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) informs about the publication of a corona guide by INQA. With this new website, employers and employees can inform themselves in detail about current contents on the coronavirus as well as about the funding offers.

In a report of 14 May 2020, the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) highlights the components of mental stress in the context of the corona pandemic. Reasons for increased stress for employees can be excessive working hours, changed working conditions or the uncertainty of losing their job.

On 08 May 2020, the Corona Regulation for Retail Trade and the Corona Regulation for Hairdressing Companies, both dated 03 May 2020, were published in the Baden-Württemberg Law Gazette No. 12. In addition, the new version of the Regulation of the State Government on infection-protective measures against the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus (Corona Regulation – CoronaVO) of 9 May 2020 was published in an emergency announcement on 9 May 2020, and the first amendments were made on 16 May 2020. This version applies from 18 May 2020. All regulations contain, among other things, requirements for compliance with certain protective measures in certain facilities and plants.
