With a notification of its homepage, the German Statutory Accident Insurance (DGUV) informs about warning notices for some particle filter masks from China, where the particle filter retention is insufficient. For the masks concerned, the risk of infection by the corona virus remains if the face mask is not combined with other protective measures.

On 6 May 2020, the Second Thuringian Ordinance on the extension and amendment of the measures necessary to contain the spread of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 of 2 May 2020 was published in the Gazette of Laws and Ordinances for Thuringia No. 11. All regulations to contain the spread of the coronavirus will initially apply until the end of 25 May 2020.

On 8 May 2020, the Ordinance on measures to contain the novel Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 in Brandenburg of 8 May 2020 was published in the Brandenburg Law and Ordinance Gazette Part II No. 30. Among other things, the ordinance contains requirements for employers to implement a hygiene concept. The regulations of the ordinance apply until the end of 5 June 2020.

On 6 and 9 May 2020, the third and fourth ordinances amending ordinances for protection against the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 were published in the Law and Ordinance Gazettes for North Rhine-Westphalia No. 16d and 17a, dated 6 and 8 May 2020. Article 1 of the fourth ordinance amending ordinances for protection against the coronavirus contains a new version of the Corona Protection Ordinance which takes into account all the amendments made so far and thus reflects the current state of the regulations in North Rhine-Westphalia.
