Plant protection products: approval of three new substances and amendments to the conditions of approval of two substances [EU]
Regulations (EU) No 916/2014 and (EU) No 917/2014 of 22 August 2014 and Regulation (EU) No 922/2014 of 25 August 2014 approve for use in plant protection products, with effect from 1 January 2015, the basic substance sucrose and the active substances Streptomyces lydicus strain WYEC 108 and metaflumizone, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of 21 October 2009 concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market. Furthermore, Regulation (EU) No 918/2014 of 22 August 2014 and Regulation (EU) No 921/2014 of 25 August 2014 amend the conditions of approval of the active substances Straight Chain Lepidopteran Pheromones and tebuconazole.
For the purposes mentioned above, the new Regulations amend the Annex to Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 of 25 May 2011 implementing Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 as regards the list of approved active substances.
Regulations (EU) No 918/2014 and No 921/2014 shall apply from 12 and 15 September 2014, respectively. As a reminder, Regulation (EU) No 890/2014 and No 891/2014 of 14 August 2014 approved the active substances metobromuron and aminopyralid, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of 21 October 2009 concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market. For this purpose, the Annex to Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 of 25 May 2011 implementing Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of as regards the list of approved active substances is amended.Red-on-line EHS Legal Counsel
