The German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) refers on its website to an overview it has compiled of industry-specific regulations and more specific details on the SARS-CoV-2 occupational safety standard of the BMAS. This standard will be concretized by the professional associations for the individual sectors bit by bit. The DGUV’s overview list mentioned here is updated accordingly on an ongoing basis.

On 03 May 2020, the “Regulation on the amendment of infection-related Regulations to combat the corona pandemic” of 02 May 2020 was published in the Official Gazette Part I No. 22 for the Saarland. In addition to amendments to various corona legal requirements, a new regulation to combat the corona pandemic (VO-CP) was also issued. This contains, among other things, regulations on compliance with hygiene standards for certain companies.

On 02 May 2020 the “Saxon Corona Protection Regulation (SächsCoronaSchVO)” of 30 April 2020 was published in the Saxon Law Gazette No. 12. In addition to various corona legal requirements and restrictions, this also contains regulations for certain companies, facilities and service providers with public access. It defines, for example, which companies must still remain closed and which conditions apply to companies that are allowed to (re)open.

On 01 May 2020 the “State Regulation on measures to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 in Schleswig-Holstein (SARS-CoV-2 control regulation)” of 01 May 2020 was published as a substitution announcement on the webpage of Schleswig-Holstein. In addition to various corona legal requirements and restrictions, this also contains regulations for certain companies, facilities and service providers with public access. On 29th April 2020, the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI) and the Federal Ministry for the Environment (BMU) issued a joint press release informing that the Federal Cabinet had approved a draft for a planning security law. This is intended to ensure that a large number of important projects do not come to a standstill or even fail due to the corona pandemic. Otherwise, the implementation of important private and public investments would be delayed, for example in the areas of housing construction, climate protection and the transformation of energy and transport.

On 01 May 2020, the “Second Regulation for the Amendment of Statutory Regulation for Protection against the Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2” of 01 May 2020 was published in the Law Gazette No. 16b for North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition to an extension of the Regulation, various provisions will also be adapted or revised, including the regulations on employer responsibility.
