In the September 28, 2021 edition of the Federal Register, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed to codify the definition of “parent company” for purposes of reporting to the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI). This proposed rule would clarify existing regulations to reporting facilities and add a foreign parent company data element, if applicable, while improving the EPA’s data quality.
Comments Requested
Comments must be received on or before November 29, 2021.
