OSHA extends the public comment period on its guidance for determining the potential health hazards of chemicals.
On March 9, 2016, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) extended the public comment period on its guidance for determining potential health hazards of chemicals until May 2, 2016. The original comment deadline was March 31, 2016. OSHA received numerous requests to extend the comment period due to the highly technical guidance.
OSHA’s Guidance on Data Evaluation for Weight of Evidence Determination is intended to help employers consider all available information when classifying hazardous chemicals.
