The Environment Agency (EA) has published Guidance – Waste management: regulation of trials of new waste management techniques on its webpage. The guidance states the methods of how the EA regulate trails of new waste management techniques.
The guidance has recently been updated, however the changes which have been made have not been singled out.
The guidance document “RPS 182 version 2” replaces the previous guidance document “PS 004”.
Any operator wishing to trial new methods of waste management should review this updated guidance document before proceeding. For detailed information refer directly to the guidance document “RPS 182 Trials of Waste Management” below.
