EPA seeks comments for TSCA Health and Safety Data Reporting [US]

On October 9th, 2015, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced that it is collecting public comments regarding “Health and Safety Data Reporting, Submission of Lists and Copies of Health and Safety Studies”.

Section 8(d) of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and 40 CFR part 716 require manufacturers and processors of chemicals to submit lists and copies of health and safety studies relating to the health and/or environmental effects of certain chemical substances and mixtures to the EPA.

The EPA is required to review this data submission process periodically and is collecting public comments on the information collection request until November 9th, 2015.

The information collection request is viewable at http://www.regulations.gov and expires on November 30th, 2015.
