REACH: public consultation on proposals to restrict ammonium salts and bisphenol A [EU]

In June 2014, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) launched public consultations on restriction proposals concerning ammonium salts and bisphenol A (4,4′-isopropylidenediphenol). These proposals were submitted according to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of 18 December 2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH). The public consultation is open until 18 December 2014.

As a reminder, in March 2014, ECHA launched public consultations on proposals to restrict manufacture, placing on the market or use of cadmium and its compounds (in artist paints) and chrysotile. The public consultation is still open until 19 September 2014.
