The US EPA Issues Delay on Effective Dates for Multiple Regulations

On January 26, 2017 U.S. EPA, in accordance with the Presidential directive expressed in the memorandum of January 20, 2017 from the Assistant to the President and Chief of State, titled “Regulatory Freeze Pending Review,” issued delays until March 21, 2017 on 30 regulations originally scheduled to become effective prior to March 21, 2017. Importantly, the Risk Management Program  modifications set to take effect on March 14, 2017 will now be delayed to March 21, 2017. Public comment is not available in this rulemaking.
