The Merchant Shipping and Fishing Vessels (Health and Safety at Work) (Electromagnetic Fields) Regulations 2016 have been published.

Regulations involving worker exposure to electromagnetic fields with merchant shipping and fishing vessels have been published, dated 28th October 2016.

The Merchant Shipping and Fishing Vessels (Health and Safety at Work) (Electromagnetic Fields) Regulations 2016 have been published, which aims to limit the exposure of electromagnetic fields for workers involved in the maritime industries.

 

The regulations cover exposure levels, exposure assessment, action plans and risk assessments to mitigate against the threats faced by workers from electromagnetic fields.
