European Commission Publishes Communication on the Framework Laying Down Harmonised Standards on the Marketing of Construction Products

The European Commission has published Commission communication in the framework of the implementation of Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products and repealing Council Directive 89/106/EEC. The communication states both the reference and title of the European Assessment Document, as well as the reference and title of the superseded European Assessment Document, as well as other remarks. The framework relates to a number of different products that are used in the construction industry, including:

Composite boards
Thermal insulation systems
Insulated glass units
High strength cement
Structural steel piles

The communication is part of a continuous publishing framework that relates to construction products, placed on the European Union market. The framework was published in Official Journal of the European Union, dated 15th December 2017.
