BLOGUS EPA & Army Corps Extend Comment Period for Proposed Rule to Rescind the 2015 “Definition of ‘Waters of the United States'” (WOTUS) Rule Published on 31/08/2017 In the Federal Register published on August 22, 2017, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers published an extension of the comment period for their proposed rule to rescind the 2015 “Definition of ‘Waters of the United States'” (WOTUS) Rule. The comment period for the proposed rule, which was published on July 27, 2017 at 82 Fed. Reg. 34,899, was extended by 30 days. As a result, comments can be submitted until September 27, 2017.
