Establishment of EU Ecolabel criteria
The Decisions establishing the EU Ecolabel criteria, amended by Decision (EU) 2015/345, are the following:- Decision 2009/563/EC of 9 July 2009 on establishing the ecological criteria for the award of the Community eco-label for footwear
- Decision 2009/564/EC of 9 July 2009 establishing the ecological criteria for the award of the Community eco-label for campsite service
- Decision 2009/578/EC of 9 July 2009 establishing the ecological criteria for the award of the Community eco-label for tourist accommodation service
- Decision of 26 November 2009 on establishing the ecological criteria for the award of the Community Ecolabel for wooden floor coverings
- Decision 2011/263/EU of 28 April 2011 on establishing the ecological criteria for the award of the EU Ecolabel to detergents for dishwashers
- Decision 2011/264/EU of 28 April 2011 on establishing the ecological criteria for the award of the EU Ecolabel for laundry detergents
- Decision 2011/382/EU of 24 June 2011 on establishing the ecological criteria for the award of the EU Ecolabel to hand dishwashing detergents
- Decision 2011/383/EU of 28 June 2011 on establishing the ecological criteria for the award of the EU Ecolabel to all-purpose cleaners and sanitary cleaners
Regulatory reminder : EU Ecolabel currently subject to evaluation
At the occasion of a parliamentary question, the European Commissioner for Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries indicated that Regulation (EC) No 66/2010 of 25 November 2009 on the EU Ecolabel is currently subject to an evaluation of its implementation and effectiveness. The results of this evaluation will be presented during 2015.Sources:
