Further it confirms the intent of the UK to continue following the REACH regulations, while making amendments to their implementation for the UK context.  This Bill also sets up an Office for Environmental Protection which would both work on the strategic development of environmental protection but also take part in the enforcement of environmental standards in the UK.  The bill will be further discussed in the House of Commons Public Bill Committee. A number of amendments have also already been introduced. A report on the progress of this bill is expected for 5 May 2020.
