The purpose of the proposed changes is to reduce the environmental impact of electrical and electronic products to drive towards a circular economy. An important proposal is the reform to take-back of products by suppliers and retailers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DEFRA have also published a Call for Evidence to gather opinion on the proposed reforms, which will inform policy decisions going forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The consultation and Call for Evidence are open until 11:45pm on 7th March 2024.
