It describes the Government funding for innovation in energy efficiency and heating technologies.\n\nThe Department for Business, Energy &amp; Industrial Strategy, Innovate UK, and Research Councils expect to invest around \u00a3184 million in research and innovation in the built environment. As part of this commitment, within the BEIS Energy Innovation Programme, BEIS expects to invest around \u00a390 million in low carbon heating and energy efficiency options for UK homes and businesses.\n\nThe Contents of the Guidance are the following:\n<ul>\n \t<li>Innovation in the built environment<\/li>\n \t<li>Building for 2050<\/li>\n \t<li>Investing in Low Carbon Heating Technology Innovation<\/li>\n \t<li>Investing in Building Thermal Efficiency Innovation<\/li>\n \t<li>Investing in hydrogen innovation for heating<\/li>\n \t<li>Investing in smart heating systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nSource:\n\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/innovations-in-the-built-environment\">Guidance &#8211;
