The Guidance explains Compliance Assessment Reports, assessments, inspections and permit reviews, and what the Environment Agency will do if a facility does not follow the\u00a0rules.\n\nA facility must follow all the conditions of its permit. The Environment Agency will check if a site is complying with its permit and if is continuing to be a competent operator. The Agency can revoke a permit if decides that the facility is not a suitable operator.\n\nIf the facility applies to transfer a waste, mining waste or installations permit to another person, the Environment Agency can reject the application if they decide the person is not a competent operator.\n\nThe Contents of the Guidance are the following:\n
