{"id":14337,"date":"2020-09-02T12:29:31","date_gmt":"2020-09-02T10:29:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.red-on-line-ehs.co.uk\/ehs\/?p=6272"},"modified":"2022-07-07T05:11:54","modified_gmt":"2022-07-07T03:11:54","slug":"uk-covid-19-the-heath-and-safety-executive-continues-spot-inspections-across-the-uk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.red-on-line.com\/gb\/blog\/uk-covid-19-the-heath-and-safety-executive-continues-spot-inspections-across-the-uk\/","title":{"rendered":"UK | Covid-19: The Heath and Safety Executive continues spot inspections across the UK"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"intro\">\n\nAs more and more businesses prepare to reopen, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has started spot inspections to verify Covid-19 readiness in businesses.\n\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"content\">\n\nWith more employees returning to their place of work, the HSE has started spot inspections to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hse.gov.uk\/campaigns\/\">inspect businesses to insure that they have put in place measures to protect their employees<\/a> in the workplace and that either <a href=\"https:\/\/www.red-on-line-ehs.co.uk\/ehs-integrated-offer\/solutions\/occupational-risk-assessment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">risk assessments<\/a> have been updated to reflect COVID related risks or that a specific risk assessment has been done concerning Coronavirus risks.\n\nTo help with this both the HSE and governments have provided guidance on making your workplace COVID secure.\n<ul>\n \t<li>The HSE has published a template for a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hse.gov.uk\/coronavirus\/assets\/docs\/risk-assessment.pdf\">Covid-19 risk assessment<\/a>.
