On the other hand, the protocol on Ireland\/Northern Ireland requires that Northern Ireland should still follow EU directives. Based on this principle, on 2 July 2020, Northern Ireland published&nbsp;The Pressure Vessels (Amendment) (Northern Ireland) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 to amend&nbsp;Simple Pressure Vessels (Safety) Regulations 2016 and&nbsp;Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 in respect of Northern Ireland.
