Fees on Pesticides [UK]

These are the Plant Protection Products (Fees and Charges) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 (S.I. 2016/254) (“the 2016 Regulations”) and come into force on 6th April 2016.
These regulations amend the Plant Protection Products (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2011 (“2011 Regulations”).
The purpose of these amendments is to alter the fees and charges applicable for application, evaluation and authorisation of plant protection products and active substances contained within them.
The 2016 Regulations increase the charges applied by the 2011 Regulations and in accordance with these changes an impact assessment was fully prepared and is available on the legislation.gov.uk website with the legislative instrument.
