EPA published significant new use rules (SNURs) for 26 chemical substances

In the October 3, 2018 Federal Register, EPA published significant new use rules (SNURs) for 26 chemical substances. EPA published the SNURs as both a direct final rule and a proposed rule. If EPA receives written adverse comments before November 2, 2018, EPA will withdraw the relevant sections of the direct final rule and may proceed under the proposed rule. If no adverse comments are received, the direct final rule will become effective December 3, 2018.
