On 12 May 2020, the new “Thuringian Regulation on the Release of Previously Restricted Areas and the Further Development of the Measures Required to Contain the Spread of the Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2” of 12 May 2020 was announced on the website of Thuringia. In addition to various regulations for the containment of the coronavirus, this regulation also contains certain requirements for the observance of protective and hygiene measures for certain companies and facilities.

On 15 May 2020, the Ordinance on the amendment of ordinances on Infection Law to combat the Corona Pandemic of May 15, 2020 was published in the Official Gazette of the Saarland Part I. In addition to amendments to various corona legal requirements, a new regulation to combat the corona pandemic (VO-CP) was also issued. This contains, among other things, specifications on the wearing of mouth-nose covers for certain industries as well as regulations on compliance with hygiene standards.

- COVID19 – Bavaria: Amendment of the Fourth Bavarian Infection Control Ordinance
- COVID19 – Bayern: Änderung der Vierten Bayerischen Infektionsschutzmaßnahmenverordnung (4. BayIfSMV)
On 14 May 2020, an Ordinance amending the Fourth Bavarian Infection Control Ordinance of 14 May 2020 was published in Bavarian Ministerial Gazette No. 269. The current amendment to the 4th BayIfSMV stipulates, among other things, that the obligation to wear a mask in local and long-distance public transport and the facilities belonging to it applies not only to passengers but also to control and service personnel, insofar as they come into contact with passengers. The validity of the 4th BayIfSMV is extended until the end of 29 May 2020.

On 14 May 2020, an ordinance for protection against the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 (Saxon Corona Protection Ordinance) of 12 May 2020 was published in the Saxon Law and Ordinance Gazette No. 14. The present Saxon Corona Protection Ordinance replaces the Saxon Corona Protection Ordinance of 30 April 2020 and shall apply until the expiry of 5 June 2020.

On 8 May 2020, the Ordinance of the State Government MV on the transition after the corona protection measures (Corona Transitional LVO MV) of 8 May 2020 was published in the Law and Ordinance Gazette for Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania No. 26. In addition to various corona legal requirements and relaxations of existing bans, it also contains regulations for certain companies, facilities and service providers with public access. The ordinance specifies, for example, which establishments must still remain closed and which conditions apply to those establishments which may (re)open.

On 14 May 2020, two ordinances amending the ordinance on measures to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 in Schleswig-Holstein of 5 and 8 May 2020 were published in the Schleswig-Holstein Law and Ordinance Gazette No 8. Due to the fact that all retail sales outlets may be reopened (see § 6), requirements such as the observance of certain hygiene standards (see also § 9), a restriction of the maximum number of customers and the observance of a minimum distance of 1.5m must also be complied with by them. The new regulations came into force on 9 May 2020.
