Colorado Air Quality Control Commission Adopts New Standards of Performance for New Stationary Sources

On September 25, 2016 the Colorado Air Quality Control Commission adopted by reference Part 60, Chapter I, Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations (40 CFR 60 Chapter I) for new stationary sources. standards-of-performance-new-stationary-sources With this adoption by reference, all new sources of air pollution and all modified or reconstructed sources of air pollution in Colorado must now comply with the standards, criteria, and requirements included in those regulations. However, the adoption only incorporates the referenced federal rules as they existed on July 1, 2015 and not any modifications thereafter. This rule adoption affects 5 CCR 1001-8 and will become effective on October 15, 2016.
