Colorado Air Quality Control Commission Adopts Federal Standards Regarding Control of Hazardous Air Pollutants
On September 25, 2016 the Colorado Air Quality Control Commission approved adopting the provisions of Part 61, Chapter I, Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) (which covers the National Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants or NESHAP) by reference as well as Part 63 Chapter I, Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations (which covers the Maximum Achievable Control Technology standard for stationary sources) by reference. These references will only apply to the rules as they existed on July 1, 2015. In addition, the rule adoption becomes effective on October 15, 2016 and affects 5 CCR 1001-10 Regulation Number 8.Sources :
