Florida Adopts NPDES Rule Amendments

The State of Florida Amends National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES)

On 16 August, 2016 the Florida Department of Environment Protection (FLDEP) adopted by reference federal rules relating to Florida’s state administered National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program.

The rule adoption affects F.A.C. 62-620.100. Specifically, the rule incorporates by reference electronic reporting requirements in 40 CFR 127 subparts A and B, section 127.24, and Appendix A to Part 127 and paragraphs 403.12(e)(l), (h), and (i) revised as of 22 October 22, 2015 in the Federal Register at 80 FR 64063.

The rule is effective immediately.
